Hey - I finally started guitar #2 the other week ( a grand auditorium with flamed Oregon Myrtle back and sides) and I wanted to share with you that everything you have heard about oregon myrtle is true!

It bends like a dream - no Supersoft II needed for the flamed wood, just some light water and a bending iron.  I even went for a venetian cutaway with no troubles what-so-ever.

I have two other myrtle sets and look forward to working them for future guitars!!

I have a dread almost ready for finishing right now with Oregon Myrtle. Beautiful flame and bent really easy. No problems here!
